Corrie Kindyl has been the CEO of Community Counseling Center of Central Florida, LLC since 1999. She and her staff serve primarily the Child Welfare Central Florida community focusing on at-risk families in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Polk and Volusia Counties, Florida.  The agency is devoted to youth guided, family driven practices that are culturally and linguistically competent. Empowering persons, building upon their strengths and reducing stigma of persons with mental health challenges are huge priorities for her work. Advocating for trauma-informed practices with all person serving those seeking mental health services is a focus of her work too.  Dr. Kindyl is the past recipient of the 2015 Champion Community Provider Award at Federation of Families Annual Gala.  She is a passionate child and family advocate having worked in the field since 1989 and is proud to be an Advisor for the Central Florida Chapter of the Federation of Families.
