ALEYSHKA VIGIL, Youth Coordinator

              Seminole County

My name is Aleyshka Vigil and I received a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida with a Minor in Legal Studies. I am a first-generation graduate with first-hand experiences and run-ins with unfortunate events some of which include drug abuse, sexual abuse, homelessness, mental health, and government assistance. In addition to my bachelor’s degree I have volunteered for Orange County’s Adult and Juvenile Drug Court programs both of which were aimed at rehabilitating those battling drug addiction. My personal experiences intertwined with my educational background and has given me the ability to relate with our youth on so many different levels.  I have a passion for assisting the children of our future in utilizing their unfortunate circumstances as a driving force to succeed and employment with the Federation of Families has given me the opportunity to do just that.
